Inside, Not Out

But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."
- 1 Samuel 16:7

"It's what's on the inside that counts." I've heard this saying many times and found it hard to do, but God does it with us all the time. To each and every one of us, he doesn't look at our physical features but what is in our hearts.
